WELCOME
A warm welcome to private individual therapy with Carolina. I provide bespoke Integrative psychotherapy, counselling, and coaching. I specialise in anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family issues, grief and loss, childhood trauma, stress, burnout, PTSD, anger, ADHD, illness, pre-operative and post-operative therapy, mood disorders, and mental health disorders.
I work with women’s health, men’s health, adults, students, couples, and private healthcare insurance referrals— in-person in Surrey Hills GU5, London, and online worldwide.
I offer long-term psychotherapy, short-term counselling (+12 sessions), or a single session therapy (one-off goal oriented), and a confidential, safe and stable sanctuary to explore complex emotions, behaviours, relationships, and life's complexities, with compassion and understanding. Whether you’re navigating emotional and physical pain, destructive relationship patterns, childhood wounding, or monumental life events, therapy with me serves as a unique relationship alliance characterised by knowledge, understanding, empathy, trust, and confidentiality. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Clients often see a lifting of symptoms within the first couple of months or so and continuous improvement thereafter.
A normal part of being human is experiencing challenges in life, but sometimes those challenges may feel overwhelming at times. When life events bring about pain or distress, they may prompt us to question our fundamental beliefs; we may begin to reassess our habitual responses and explore alternative ways of being. As we don’t choose our genetic and developmental background, the journey of self-exploration can be challenging, perplexing, and intricate. Research indicates that seeking professional therapy significantly increases our likelihood of success in the recovery process. Psychotherapy can be a powerful, life-changing experience enabling you to overcome emotional, relational, or social challenges, to bring the unconscious into the conscious, to improve your mental health, and fulfil your incredible potential.

INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY & COUNSELLING
Whether you’re looking for a long-term commitment, or short-term engagement in +12-weeks, or a single session therapy, my Integrative approach is tailored to meet your uniqueness and support you on your journey towards holistic well-being. I take a pragmatic clinical therapeutic approach which is characterised by empathy, warmth, insight, and a commitment to empowering psychological resilience in my clients.
My strengths lie in my capacity to build strong relationships with my clients, whereby you feel understood and supported, whilst simultaneously adapting my intellectual rigour, clinical expertise, and psychotherapeutic knowledge in a way that is best suited to meet your specific needs. Together, we can explore the root causes of your pain, issues, past experiences, and discover new ways for approaching challenging situations, providing practical coping strategies that will support your psychological well-being. It's like exploring the ocean's depths while also riding the waves. It addresses the whole you—mind, body, and soul. It's not just about symptoms, it's about your overall well-being and happiness, empowering you to be an active participant in your own healing journey.
Integrative psychotherapy is like the eclectic playlist of therapeutic approaches—I combine different clinical evidence-based methods, and a comprehensive range of psychological and clinical therapies tailored to suit the unique needs of each person—considering your specific issues, symptoms, personality, and preferences. Integrative therapy is versatile and flexible, drawing on many different psychological theories and therapeutic models to help you explore and manage your symptoms.
My Integrative therapeutic style is relational and empowering with a strong leaning towards Humanistic, Person-centred, Attachment theory, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Transactional Analysis (TA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential theory, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Somatic, and Trauma Neurobiological approaches.
